Faculty

The men and women of the University of Bridgeport faculty divide their time among three complementary activities: teaching, research, and course development. Their unparalleled commitment to teaching is evident in the number of hours they devote to the personal and professional development of their students as well as to class preparation. At the same time, they maintain exceptional standards in conducting leading-edge research that is directly related to course development.

In support of the School?s strategy to build knowledge that improves practice, faculty continually write new cases and revise existing ones. Ongoing faculty relationships with practicing business managers ensure that students gain significant exposure to both current and future issues. In the classroom, professors orchestrate discussions and activities, urging students to exercise their analytical skills and stretch their imaginations to reach a deeper understanding of issues and to craft creative solutions. Faculty members are accessible to students outside of class, and many serve as advisors to field-study groups, individual research projects, and student clubs.
